Decided to list your home? The Denver market has stabilized somewhat since last year. More inventory is making it easier for buyers to be more selective bringing the days on market to a higher number. Seller’s are having to be more patient. The days of listing for over ‘value’ have stalled for now. Most sellers want updated and move-in ready home and can walk away from overpriced and fixers. Sellers must price accordingly. Your agent will be able to make suggestions, but sellers should be open to listening. It may not be what they want to hear. Offers coming in much less than asking is now the norm. Denver home prices are still high and sellers are still making money. Be patient! Agents too, myself included.
